Our Story — Why We Built BagsDrop
BagsDrop was founded by a team of bag manufacturers and e-commerce engineers who were frustrated by the same problem: dropshippers were paying middleman markups of 30–60% on products that came from factories just like ours. CJ Dropshipping, AutoDS, and similar platforms act as aggregators — they source from hundreds of factories, add their margin, and resell to you. We decided to cut out the intermediary entirely.
Our factory is located in Guangdong Province, China — specifically in the Baiyun District of Guangzhou, which is the world's most concentrated women's bag manufacturing cluster. Within a 20-kilometer radius, you will find the raw material markets (Zhongda Fabric Market), the hardware suppliers (Xiaobei accessories market), and over 3,000 bag factories. We are not a trading company that sources from these factories. We are one of these factories.
What makes BagsDrop different is the software layer we built on top of the manufacturing capability. Our in-house engineering team developed direct API integrations with Shopify, TikTok Shop, and WooCommerce. When a customer places an order in your store, it automatically flows to our factory floor — no CSV exports, no manual forwarding, no middleware. This is what "automated multi-channel fulfillment" actually means in practice.
